"Yamaha Develops New Music Instrument From Synthesizer," and Other Assaults on the English Language
The quality of Tech-On!’s translation has been getting on my nerves for a while, now, but this is just sloppy. I mean, for goodness’ sake. “Users operate the instrument’s LED buttons to play phrases and tempos.” Erm, “play tempos”? Would it really hurt to find a couple of translators who have (a) a native-level grasp of English and (b) a basic knowledge of what they’re writing about? Please.
