I’m interested to know if there’s some mismatch with the Chinese, but given that characters 3-5 do mean “French person” and the last is a variant for “dog” in Japanese also, it looks accurate. Guess that’s what you get for making a nation of 1.3 billion people mad at you. (A thought: government officials always quote that number, don’t they? As the threat, presumably, that offending the Powers That Be will result in 1.3 billion malleable and suggestible souls being mobilised against you.) (Via Japundit)
